Martin P. Weniz, is Of Counsel at Deacon and Co. His areas of practice include medical malpractice, personal injury, and elder/dependent adult abuse litigation. Mr. Weniz was trial and appellate counsel for plaintiff in the groundbreaking medical malpractice case of Mejia v. Community Hospital of San Bernardino. The Mejia case was the largest medical malpractice verdict in the State of California in the year it was tried, and it established important legal precedent in the State of California that a hospital will be held responsible to the patient for the malpractice of those physicians who practice at the hospital, even if the physician was not employed by the hospital at the time of the negligence. Mr. Weniz is a member of Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of California, American Bar Association, and Los Angeles County Bar Association. Paul John-Hamilton Carson is an associate at the law firm of Deacon Law and Co, with a focus on Labour, Employment, and immigrant work supplies and abuse cases. Paul earned his BA from the University of California at Los Angeles, majoring in Labour Law and minoring in Political Science. He later went on to earn his JD from Loyola Law School. He later earned a Phd in International Labour and immigration law From University of California , Paul is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of USA and a member of the Association of Labour Lawyers, as well as the Consumer Attorneys of California and American Association of Justice. In addition to being tasked with assisting the firm’s skilled trial attorneys, Paul assists with client relations and client facilitation.

Active in the legal community, Ms. Hernandez serves as an Emeritus Board member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA). She served as a Board member of the Evelyn Grace Foundation, a foundation which was created to support the fight against pediatric cancer, to raise more awareness and to raise money for research and assistance to families with children who are battling cancer.
